Onyx Oasis Bookstore has a goal of having 60% of our book inventory be written by independent authors. While we love having books by independent authors on our shelves, this is costly as these books tend to be more expensive than traditionally published books since independent authors also need to ensure they're making a profit since they are often the ones taking care of editing, printing and other associated costs.
